Oden Family | Austin, Texas

Having the Oden family back in front of my lens is such an honor! I cannot believe how much time has flown by since I last saw them.

The last time Yunus and Koryn were in front of my lens, they were anxiously awaiting the arrival of their beautiful daughter, Amirah.

Unfortunately, COVID put a big damper on newborn photos and it’s hard to believe that she is already over 6 months old. I was so excited to get to meet her, and see her; even if I couldn’t snuggle her.

I love that we did these photos in a different area of the same park we did their maternity session. Something so beautiful about sharing this milestone with the same location as we already did photos in before.

Every time I work with Koryn and Yunus it’s a lot of fun. They’re the sweetest couple! Getting to see them as parents was really special and I loved every moment of it.

Oden family, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of this beautiful and precious time in your lives. I cannot wait to capture her first year photos. The love you have for one another and this gorgeous little girl, it’s wonderful to see. I always love seeing you guys and working with you. I look forward to many more milestones in the future.

Pagano Maternity Session | Austin, Texas

What better way to start your day than with a beautiful family like the Paganos!

Sunrise sessions can be fantastic for younger kiddos. Even though it was a chilly morning, it didn’t stop these three (technically four) from having a great time.

Luca was more than happy getting to throw rocks into the water, and explore all over the park. He is such a cutie! Nick loves waterfalls so he was really excited to have this park as their location.

This family loves to hike and camp which is what I am all about in my free time as well. Getting to connect with clients who enjoy the same thing always makes the session a little extra special. When Nick told me how Leah had scouted out areas she loved most about the park before the session we were all laughing. No matter how far into her pregnancy, she wasn’t letting that stop her ability to explore and find beautiful spots.

Pagano family, your session was loads of fun, start to finish! I loved getting to meet and work with you all and I hope to do so again soon in the future. You are amazing people! Getting to be a part of and capturing this milestone for you to cherish and look back on is truly an honor.

Welsh Family Surrogacy Session | Austin, Texas

I couldn’t be happier to be sharing this beautiful family and surrogacy maternity session on my blog today.

Often times I get asked what I love most about my job. It’s sincerely hard to pin-point one particular aspect as there are so many that made me fall in love with what I do. Working with families like these are definitely one of my top reasons. Getting to tell their amazing story and capture memories for them to cherish and look back on for years to come truly makes my heart so full.

Andrea contacted me ages ago to arrange and book this session. Her husband and her have been trying to a baby for nearly five years. She was generous enough to share their journey with me to share with you all on here.

      “After nearly 5 years and…
      – 7 medication assisted cycles
      – An empty sac pregnancy
      – A tubal pregnancy
      – IVF
      – Hysteroscopy
      – Failed FET
      – Ovarian Hyper
      – Stimulation requiring hospitalization
      – 2 endometrial biopsies
      – Being told we needed a gestational carrier for our embryos…
Our wish is finally coming true. I already knew I had the best sister, but she’s earning the sisterhood lifetime achievement award because she offered to be our carrier. Baby W is expected early December 2020. We are over the moon!”

Getting to meet Andrea, her husband Ian and her sister Amanda was an honor. I loved their chemistry with one another and the overflow of love that was so very easy to see.

Andrea and Ian deserve everything positive and incredible in this world, as does Amanda. Having a sister like Amanda who is such a gem and willing to be a carrier for them is truly a beautiful thing.

When Andrea first reached out to me, I was extremely excited to be a part of this session for them. I haven’t done a surrogacy photoshoot before but loved that I was given the opportunity. My aunt was a surrogate twice so this holds a special place in my heart. I think that surrogacy is truly such an amazing and selfless act. I love that this journey was a possibility for the Welsh family and I cannot wait for them to meet their little boy.

The bond and love between these sisters is not only sincere but beautiful. I loved having their chemistry and individual personalities shine through these images. It’s always fun getting to work with siblings as I feel that they have a special bond that is always so unique.

Ian, Andrea and Amanda, thank you so very much for hiring me to capture these memories for you all. I loved every second of working with the three of you and hope to see you all again in the future. All three of you deserve all the happiness in the world and it makes my heart so full knowing that you get to hold your baby in your arms very soon.
