Wilson Maternity Photoshoot | Cedar Park, Texas

Sandra and Matthew’s family is growing! I am extremely happy for the Wilson family. This is their first baby and they couldn’t be more excited to meet their little one.

Matthew and Sandra just moved to Austin recently, pregnant and during COVID! Let’s all welcome them to Texas in the comments below. :) It wasn’t the easiest move, but they are amazing!

These two are not only hilarious but so extremely sweet. They are truly beautiful people inside and out.

I loved every second of this session. There was nonstop laughing with lots of jokes. Couples who laugh continuously together and love to snuggle throughout their photoshoot are my favorites!

Sandra looked absolutely stunning in her maxi dress and I love that she brought fresh flowers with her. Matthew wore mustard coloured pants with a white button-up and it was perfect. I love when guys keep the tones neutral but do something a little different. They both looked absolutely stunning!

Honestly, it was an honor to be a part of this session for the Wilson family. It’s extra special since they have asked me to do their newborn session as well! I am so excited to meet their little one!

This session was a very unique type of sunset session. Not only did we get a beautiful breeze, but we also got a very odd sunset. The first half of the session was very cloudy with the sun completely hidden. At the end of the session, the sun came out but it was still cloudy. Turns out, it was the smoke that had blown over from the fires in California. We got a very beautiful, unique, bright orange sky with no cloud definitions and a bright, big glowing sun!

Sandra and Matthew, thank you so much for asking me to be a part of this incredibly special time in your life. I cannot wait to work with you again shortly. You both are the best.

Welcome to Texas!

Jore Family Photoshoot | Georgetown, Texas

I sincerely could not be more excited to share this beautiful family on my blog today!

When Adela emailed me to say that they had decided on this beautiful park, I was so excited. It has been on my location guide as a ‘new’ location option, but no one had chosen it yet for me to photograph. It can be extremely difficult to envision your photos being taken at a location without people being in the sample images; I completely understand!

Not only did I get to finally have portraits at this location to showcase other families, but I got to work with such a stunning family, inside and out!

As a photographer, knowing that you’re photographing a family of six with the youngest under the age of three, at sunset, can be a little concerning. Not with the Jore family. These kids were a pleasure, but also a total BLAST to work with! The entire session was filled with laughter and snuggles, nose kisses, being thrown in the air, and holding hands. Siblings who willingly snuggle and hold hands are definitely in my top favorites.

I couldn’t stop taking photos of them all, they made it so enjoyable and easy to get such stunning images. Everyone looked fantastic and had such a great time. Adela looked so stunning and deserves all the gold stars for getting everyone looking so stunning and out the door to this session. I can’t imagine it being the easiest to arrange and organize. I loved how excited each and every kid was to snuggle up with her and give her eskimo kisses, it never gets old seeing that kind of sincere affection from kids for their parents. Ben definitely is one of the best dads to work with! All the kids loved snuggling with him, making funny faces, being tickled and thrown in the air as high as they could go.

Stefan had the best sense of humor and had everyone laughing throughout his solo portraits especially. He is such a great big brother and it was nice to see especially with him being so outnumbered by all his sisters. :)

Sabina is the sweetest, she was such a good model and really helped her sisters while posing and was so very patient throughout everything.

Mara is so sweet and was a little more shy than her sisters but really did have a good time and was so polite. I absolutely loved her curls and both of her dresses. She was extremely patient and really did amazing throughout all the photos!

Luisa is the cutest little nugget! Probably one of the happiest and most well behaved little one I’ve ever worked with. Throughout her portraits, Ben and Adela kept saying how they didn’t realize she was such a little ham in front of the camera before. She was quite the model and gave us all the cutest smiles and giggles.

I love making time to do portraits of parents! Too many parents don’t have enough time for themselves and they deserve it. Especially Ben and Adela; they’re such amazing people and definitely fantastic parents. I loved the sunset glow we got in their portraits of them by themselves and cannot wait for them go through this blog and see them. Their chemistry for one another is easy to see and was truly beautiful to capture in photos for them to look back on cherish for many years to come.

Jore family, thank you so much for having faith in this location without having a real ‘portrait example’ of how it would look in the guide. Thank you for asking me to be a part of capturing such gorgeous memories of your family for you to look back on and cherish for many years to come. I loved every single moment of your session and hope to work with you all again in the near future. It was such an honor getting to meet you all and I loved being a part of this milestone in your family’s life. I hope you love these images as much as I do.

The Royals Christmas Photoshoot | Leander, Texas

I have no idea where the time goes, but I couldn’t be more thankful for clients who ask me to be a part of their milestones year after year. The Royal family is such a great example of what amazing clients I have.

Throughout the years, I have photographed Michal and Dan’s milestones. From the first time we worked together, to capture their maternity session, to Charlotte’s newborn photoshoot, to their first Christmas as a family of three. I was so happy that Texas was opened up enough for Charlotte’s first birthday photoshoot. To now be able to photograph their second Christmas all together, I feel so honored! To photograph and watch them grow as a family is so beautiful. Seeing Charlotte grow into the little beautiful girl she is becoming.

Royal family, thank you so much for being a part of this set-up session. Thank you for always supporting my work throughout the years and asking me to be a part of your memories. I truly appreciate how amazing and thoughtful you have been over the last two years. You’re the best clients who have become friends that I could ever hope for. It’s clients like you, who checked in on me throughout COVID lock-down that truly kept me positive while I couldn’t work. Knowing that I had clients like you waiting for me to be able to work with you again. Thank you so much!

Sydney’s Senior Portrait Session | Georgetown, Texas

Sydney is a senior!!! I couldn’t be happier to have been a part of this session and to be able to share it all with you.

Getting to meet and work with Sydney was such a pleasure. She was happy to go with flow and take any and all suggestions I offered her.

When she let me know that she wanted to do her session in Georgetown I was really excited. I live in Georgetown and truly think that it’s underrated for the beautiful locations there are here. My favorite part is how deserted the locations are compared to other parks.

That being said, while we were doing photos in the field for her, there was plenty going on and it made us all laugh. We had two horses pass by, someone driving a motorized kite.. All the things you could never imagine that would happen during a session, haha.

Earlier on in the day it wasn’t very pretty out, but a lot of those type of days give the best sunsets! I love the dramatic clouds that we got for her and the bit of breeze that came along with it.

Sydney, thank you for asking me to be a part of capturing this exciting time in your life. You were a lot of fun to work with! I hope you love these images as much as I loved being a part of them.
